What we do
We produce modern lightweight containerboards from virgin and recycled fibres in Finland and Poland. Our corrugated converting plants are located in Sweden, Finland, Russia, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and China.
Stora Enso is a leading provider of renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials, wooden constructions and paper across global markets. We use and develop our expertise in renewable materials to meet the needs of our customers and many of today’s global raw material challenges. Our products provide a climate-friendly alternative to many products made from non-renewable materials and have a smaller carbon footprint.
Stora Enso’s customers range from publishers, retailers and brand owners, to print and board producers, printing houses, merchants, converters, and joiners, as well as construction companies. Our aim is to replace fossil-based materials by innovating and developing new products and services, based on wood and other renewable materials. Our focus is fibre-based packaging, plantation-based pulp, innovation in biomaterials and sustainable building solutions. The Stora Enso group has some 26,000 employees in more than 35 countries and is publicly listed on the Helsinki and Stockholm stock exchanges.
The Packaging Solutions division develops fibre-based packaging, and operates at every stage of the value chain from pulp production, material and packaging production to recycling. Our solutions serve leading converters, brand owners and retailers in helping to optimise performance, reduce total costs and enhance sales. The integration between our containerboard mills and corrugated converting plants allows us to test and perfect our packaging materials in close collaboration.
